The Use of Complementary and Alternative Medicine: Pregnancy, Birth and the Early Postnatal Period
We are presenting the workshop again in 2012 in Maleny in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland on 16 March, and 27 April on the Gold Coast.

The registration fee is $195, which includes tea/coffee on arrival, morning and afternoon tea, lunch and some notes. This Early Bird fee applies only until 16 February for Maleny, and 27 March for the Gold Coast. After that time, the fee is $245.

n Barrett BSc MD FACS(C) FRANZCOG has more than 20 years' experience in women's health. She has worked as a lactation and a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist in Canada and New Zealand.
Carol Bartle RN RM IBCLC MHSc has a nursing, midwifery, education and lactation consultant background and more than 20 years' experience in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) work environment. Carol is the Coordinator of the Canterbury Breastfeeding Advocacy Service.

Managing Birth Variations and Complications: A Midwives Retreat with Rachel Reed

chel Reed is a lecturer at the University of the Sunshine Coast and a homebirth midwife. She is the author of the popular blog site, Midwife Thinking.
Designed as a residential retreat, this workshop will be held in Daylesford (24-25 March), Noosa Heads (19-20 May) and the Blue Mountains (1-2 September). One will also be held in Brisbane on 3-4 November.
